Busy weekend

I'm going to start with Sunday because that's how the pictures got loaded.

On Sunday Mami and I skipped out on church (shhh, don't tell Abuelito) so Mami could help Titi Val get ready for her prom.

She had the most beautiful flower on her wrist...
but she wouldn't let me have it...
so she gave me a kiss on my head instead.

On Saturday I went to visit Pop and got to see my cousins, Chase and Dillon (in the picture) and Aunt Ally and Jason, and Nana.

Pop has a long walkway in his backyard/patio and I got to go really fast with lion. I was giggling and squealing the whole time. I had so much fun.
I even took a nap in my pack-n-play. I've only ever slept in the hospital and my crib so Mami was a little worried that I would boycott my afternoon nap, but, you know, it wasn't that bad in there...Bluito was with me, I got to play a little with him, and it was nice and cozy in there.

Can you believe I'm 9 months already!!! I went to see Dr. Cordes and he says I'm very healthy. I didn't gain much weight (I'm 17lbs 6oz) but who can when there is so much crawling and cruising to be done. I did grow an inch and a half (now I'm 27 1/2" tall).

So, here it is, my new playroom. I have plenty of room now and I can even go back and forth with my lion. Mami and I have a spot to cuddle and read stories and I have a ton of space to play with my toys and not get hurt. Thank you Papi! (he moved all the furniture around just for me, so I wouldn't pinch any little fingers).

Happy 1st Mother's Day Mami! I know the day started rough for you since I was up from 9:30 pm - midnight crying...I don't know what was wrong with me--tooth, bellyache, I don't know, but I just couldn't get settled. And getting up at 5 am didn't help, but Papi is so good that he let you sleep and he played with me. I hope you like the card I made you. My first brownies creations just for you!

My tiredness is obvious in that last picture. I'll sleep well tonight, I promise (in case I don't, I'll make it up with my cuteness).

Look at the mess I got myself into. I don't know what happened! The foam block attacked me and fell on my head. My head went through it and I could not get out. Eventually Mami helped me out. At least I gave her a good laugh.

Guess what, Mami and Papi are eating in the kitchen now--they made me a playroom! Yippie! I can push my lion around, play with my kitchen, read some books and there's nothing for me to get hurt. I can roam and cruise all I want now! Maybe Mami will show you some pictures soon.

Cruising in style

Mami and I were bored last week so she took me to Toys'RUs and got me this cool new lion. I can actually walk!
