Mami's friend, Jenny, got married on Saturday and we drove on Friday night so Mami and Papi could be there for Jenny and Howard's special day. I was in the car seat for a really long time. I was so excited to be in the car at night time that I stayed up for 2.5 hrs after we left our house. Well, all those lights and trucks and cars was too much for me. I had a hard time falling asleep in the car, but after a stop, clean diaper and warm milk (and a little crying) I fell asleep until we got to Pittsburgh. We didn't get there until close to midnight and, of course, I had to check out where we were so I was up and didn't go to sleep until 2 am. I still got up early-right at 7 am. I wasn't going to miss playtime, especially in a new place. Mami took a nap in the morning with me while Papi went to work out. After nap time, we went out to have lunch at some cafe near the hotel. All I have to say is "Baby Food". Oh was I glad that Mami brought me some jarred food. You know the place is bad when Mami won't let me eat the biscuit (that I threw on the floor). Papi had it the worst...he ordered some "sandwich" that looked worse than my morning poop. Yuck. He's lucky Mami shared her turkey club with him. Oh and Titi Val got a salad and they brought it out in a salad bowl, the kind you serve out of, not the ones to eat out of. I was so glad when we got out of there. Mami and I went back to the hotel and took another nap while Titi Val, Papi, Abuelito and Abuelita went walking around in Pittsburgh. After my nap I got to meet Mami's friends, Elise and Charlotte. They looked very pretty. I was impressing them with all my moves-crawling really fast, pulling up on furniture-the usual baby moves. Well, Mami and Papi got ready for the wedding and left me with Abuelita. Mami came back after the ceremony to feed me and went back for the reception. She told Abuelita to let me fall asleep in the crib, but Abuelita didn't listen. I think Abuelita learned her lesson because she had to rock me to sleep singing lullabies and I would not let her put me in the crib. She had to sleep next to me in Mami's bed. When Mami came back I was fast asleep, laying diagonally in her bed. She cuddled next to me and we slept together the whole night. Sunday morning we drove back and I got to eat pancakes when we stopped for breakfast at Perkins. I loved them!
