Just one

Just one photo for today. I was enjoying lunch and kept giving Mami "the eyes"... she quickly forgot that I had thrown food on the floor and that she was picking up my cup for the tenth time.
I hope to have an update within the next few days so I can show you how I've been enjoying the snow...I just wish we would get a bigger dump of it.

A fun day out

These eyes are of a tired little boy...Mami and Papi and Charlie and I all went out to play in the snow on Saturday. We were out for almost two hours. I really didn't want to come home, but it was time for lunch and a nap.
I got to make my first snow angel...

well, Papi helped me ;)

After I finished my snow angel, I walked forever allllllllllllllll around

I just didn't stop...I just kept going...
until Papi stopped me.

This is not my finest moment. I really did want to stay outside. Once we got moving I calmed down and forgot all about it.

Christmas Tree, Swings, and more

It happened again! Mami let my blog go for too long :(
As you can see from the picture above, the cold doesn't stop us from going out. Mami says she bundles me up like a burrito so we can go walk Charlie in the morning.
We got a little snow and Papi, of course, took me out to play

I'm so glad Mami decided to come play with us too (she doesn't like it cold)!

Mami caught me trying to get a hold of Papi's wallet and keys.

Keys are one of my favorite toys, but no one seems to let me play with them except Abuelita.
I was being very sweet playing with my toys and giving Mami beautiful smiles...I know how to win her over ;)

That's me with chocolate all over my face. I was enjoying Papi's birthday cake. Yum!

He was working on lighting our Christmas tree...

....so I decided to put my toys down....

...and help him with the lights.

"I'm a good helper Mami!"

I couldn't believe there was a tree in my playroom!!!

Those shiny balls became a favorite toy, but then they were up too far for me to reach :( I guess Papi got sick of having them all over the floor.
So our Christmas tree disappeared a little early. Charlie got confused and thought we brought in nature for him to relieve himself without having to go out in the cold. Silly dog.

Have I told you how much I LOVE prunes?!!!! I LOVE THEM! I REALLY DO!!!

Mami only lets me have four a day because she doesn't like to clean up after...if you know what I mean-hehehe! Let's just say some of my cloth diapers show how much I LOVE prunes.

Papi made a photo collage on our coffee table that is irresistible. I love climbing on the table to take a good look at Mami and Papi and everybody else. I love to walk across it.
I also got caught doing something not right the other day: I took my sippy cup and pressed the top so all of my water would drip out onto the coffee table. When I came to Mami my sleeves were wet to my elbows and she saw what I did. I was embarrassed, but Mami forgave me and gave me a big hug. Believe me, my heart sank when I saw the look on Mami's face. At least it was just water.
Don't worry, I made it down successfully.

That's me with Papi on Christmas morning. Yes, I know, I didn't have pjs on because I had my own Christmas morning gift for Mami and Papi...but I'm not sure if they liked it or not.

There was a tower of blocks by the tree that I quickly knocked down before heading to the kitchen to eat. Sorry, but my morning milk is very important.

I do not sit still very often and I was not cooperating for a family picture. This is the best I could give them.

Like I told you, I don't stay still for very long so the playground is always a great change of pace. Papi takes me to the playgroud very often and Mami does too, but not as often as he does because she says it's too cold. Anyway, I am back into the swings! I took a break from them for a few months but then remembered how much I like them.
I also enjoy going down the slide...but Mami isn't so thrilled about the head-first way of going down. She gets nervouse I'll get hurt. Thank God for Papi!

A recent time in the bath..yes, that's a bruise from falling into one of my chairs. I'm like a little monkey these days so bruises are bound to happen. That's why Abuelita brought Mami a whole tub of "manteca de ubre".

My new favorite meal is "arroz con salchichas". It was one of Mami's childhood favorites too.

I like to make sure it's all off the plate and on my tray.
Then, I eat it one grain at a time.

You should see the mess on the floor! Somebody want to give Mami a cleaning service?

The day before Three Kings Day we went outside to gather some "food" for the camels. Well, it didn't go so well. I forgot why we went outside and started running around and away from Mami. All I wanted to do was check out the alley and she just kept saying "peligro, peligro!" I know it's dangerous to go in the street and alley all by myself, but a boy has to try.

I really thought I could get away from Mami.

I wore her out and she took me inside :(
The next day I got a little helicopter (that I broke already) and a little truck from the Wise Men...I'll have to remember to gather more grass for the camels next year...maybe I'll get a bigger gift for a bigger box of grass? Hmmm.
